What are orthotics?
Orthotics are innersoles prescribed by podiatrists to fit inside your shoes. They help to stabilise your foot, support your arch and correctly align foot posture to assist with issues such as foot pain,ankle injuries which may be a result of biomechanical problems such as flat or high arched feet. Before your podiatrist prescribes you a custom made orthotic they will undertake a full biomechanical examination so that they are able to customise your orthotics to suit your individual needs.
